The CheckOut is a hub for musical creativity in a transformed former 7-Eleven created and managed by Chicago-based non-profit organization Access Contemporary Music. The CheckOut serves ACM’s mission of providing equitable access to the transformative power of music-making by hosting concerts and affordable music lessons.
The CheckOut is the only dedicated chamber music venue on the north side of Chicago and it includes a 60-seat concert venue with a bar and four teaching rooms for private music lessons.
The CheckOut hosts innovative programming from concerts of music by diverse living composers to a film series featuring important musical scores to jazz, cabaret and more.
